Day 42 - July 23 We are SIX weeks old today!
We had a BIG day at Best Retrievers in Paige, Texas. Thank you Kristen Best for inviting the puppies out to the pond for a swim, then playing on the hill and OMG then we were introduced to birds :-)

Day 40 - July 21 We had company come visit and they brought us some TOYS!
Day 35 - July 16 We are FIVE weeks old today !
Day 34 - July 15 First day in the puppy pool. Lizzy was being the attentive lifeguard.
Day 32 - July 13 Puppies are eating softened ProPlan puppy food. No more mush in the blender for these pups :-) Puppy Pinwheel
Day 31 - July 12 The puppies have the DNA done while they are away from mama for at least 2 hours. Optimal Selection test kits will be mailed on Monday!
Day 30 - July 11 Lizzy takes a break from puppy raising and goes to Tailwind Dock Jumping for a swim.
Day 28 - July 9 Big day today. We are FOUR weeks old.
We did weights, deworming, toe nail trimming and first puppy mush.

Day 23 - July 4 We are not bothered by the loud noises outside.
Lizzy teaching the puppies how to hold a retrieving dummy - dove. So funny when Lizzy holds the dummy while the puppies reach up under her to nurse. She is a multi-tasking mama!!

Day 20 - July 1 Miss White Toes has selected a Remington dove to sleep on.
Day 18 - June 29 The puppies are moved into their new pen and toys are added.
Day 15 - June 26 Toe nail trim day

Today's Deworming - each puppy is weighted and medication calculated by weight.

Today is Dutch's Birthday too. Dutch would have been 9 years old. This is his first heavenly birthday.
Dutch is deeply missed.
Dutch sired 2 black puppies (Myla and Ruby) in 2018 and this litter of 5.

Day 4 - June 14 We are home and settling in. Puppies are growing and gaining weight nicely. (I'm so tired, do you have to weigh me now?)

We are leaving Dallas, TX today to go to Cedar Creek, TX. The puppies will be raise on the farm at Ayershire Kennels. |
